Hult Prize @ UC Davis

UC Davis's first Hult Prize chapter, built from the ground up.

We recruit and train student teams to build for-profit ventures that take on real social and environmental challenges — then send our strongest teams to compete on the national stage.

What is the Hult Prize?

The Hult Prize is a global student entrepreneurship competition. Teams of students design for-profit ventures that address social and environmental challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, then pitch their ideas and compete through a series of stages toward national and global competition. It turns classroom ideas into real ventures — judged by real entrepreneurs, academics, and industry professionals.

  1. Founded

Built from the ground up by a student founder, Hult Prize @ UC Davis became UC Davis's first official Hult Prize chapter.

  2. Organized

Recruited an executive board, earned faculty support, and secured official university organizational recognition.

  3. Partnered

Established a long-term collaboration with ENG 108, exposing far more students to entrepreneurship and expanding participation.

  4. Built to last

The chapter kept growing even after its founder transferred away — proof it was built to be sustainable, not dependent on one person.
